Paper Tigers is a collaboration for a publication (in progress) with the editorial investigator Luz Santos Rodero.
Her investigation deals with the mechanisms of censorship of children's literature in authoritarian regimes. In this specific case, centered in the Francoist dictatorship.
Luz asked me to work with "Anarchy explained to Children" published in 1931 and censored later by the facist regime. The work by José Antonio Emmanuel presents a brief introduction to what Anarchy means and a list of 10 postulates to follow in the path of its achievement. These postulates are: Help, Support, Copy Beauty, Labor, Study, Love, Protect, Cultivate, Don't have Slaves and Work.
