Workshops
In my first years back in Berlin I used to teach illustration and comic workshops for children in the Spanish bookstore Bartleby & Co. Berlin.
I also taught illustration for kids in the spanish-german school Lemgo Schule in Kreuzberg for a short while, as COVID came shortly after and the courses were cancelled.
My teaching focuses on the potential of articulating narratives with drawing. I explore with the kids how drawing helps us think about what surrounds us and how we choose to represent our world. I like to encourage children to think together and get involved with each other’s ideas in the process, as in my experience, it has always been my peers that I have learned the most from.
Around that same time, I founded together with the great artist Gal.la Uriol Jané, Alula, a place for the normalization of a second language through creative activities. Unfortunately, COVID interrupted our beautiful entreprise, but Gal.la recently set it all in motion again so if you are in Berlin, take a look at their amazing offer!
